When you should stay with Zoho
- You use Zoho CRM, Books or other Zoho apps and want them under one login and one bill.

How to move from Zoho Mail to GINbox
- Add your domain to GINbox and create a mailbox for each person. Mail keeps arriving at Zoho meanwhile.
- In Zoho Mail settings, turn on IMAP for each user. People who use two-factor sign-in create an app-specific password.
- In the admin panel, open Move mail. GINbox detects that your mail is at Zoho and fills in the settings. List the mailboxes, with a CSV file if you have many, and start.
- We copy every folder, message and read status in the background, check every one, and show progress for each mailbox. Your team keeps working meanwhile.
- When every mailbox shows Copied, change one DNS record (the MX record). We keep collecting stray mail for three more days, then delete every password we held.

Questions about leaving Zoho Mail
Why would I switch from Zoho Mail to GINbox?
Common reasons are wanting to pay month by month (Zoho Mail Lite and Premium are billed yearly), wanting mail apps such as Outlook on every plan (Zoho’s free plan does not include IMAP or POP), or wanting email without the rest of the Zoho suite. GINbox starts at ₹49 per mailbox per month billed yearly, GST extra.
How do I move my email from Zoho Mail to GINbox?
Turn on IMAP for each user in Zoho Mail settings; users with two-factor sign-in use an app-specific password. Then enter the addresses in the GINbox admin panel and start. GINbox copies every folder and message, checks that all of it arrived, and keeps collecting stray mail for three days after you change your MX record.
Does GINbox have a free plan like Zoho?
GINbox has no permanent free plan. It has a 14-day free trial with up to 3 mailboxes and everything included, with no card needed. Zoho’s free plan covers up to 5 users with 5 GB each and, on Zoho’s pricing page on 23 October 2026, did not include IMAP, POP or ActiveSync, so mail apps cannot connect to it.
Can I keep using other Zoho apps after I move my email?
Moving email copies your mail only; it does not touch your other Zoho apps. Some Zoho apps send or read email through Zoho Mail, so check how each one uses email before you change your MX record.
Will my Zoho contacts and calendar move too?
