Mailboxes and addresses

Everything a business needs from email. Nothing it doesn’t.

  • Mailboxes at your domain on plans of 5 GB, 10 GB, 50 GB, 100 GB, 200 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 10 TB
  • Move a mailbox up or down a plan at any time
  • Extra addresses for any mailbox — sales@, accounts@, info@ — on any of your domains
  • postmaster@ and abuse@ on every domain, so mail providers can reach you
  • Mail to addresses that don’t exist: refuse it (recommended) or collect it
  • A warning by email before a mailbox fills up

Email in your browser

A fast, familiar webmail at mail.ginbox.net — and every mail app still works too.

  • A clean, Gmail-style design in English or Hindi, with light and dark themes
  • Undo send, send later (it goes even with your browser closed), snooze, and “remind me if there’s no reply”
  • Formatted signatures for each of your addresses, and templates for the replies you write every day
  • Search with filters like from:, has:attachment, before: and larger:, and save the searches you use often
  • Keyboard shortcuts and a command bar (Ctrl/⌘ K) for people who live in their inbox
  • Install it on your phone or computer like an app; Outlook, Apple Mail, the Gmail app and Thunderbird work as well

An inbox you control

Important mail first. Everything else out of the way.

  • Primary, Updates and Promotions tabs — drag a message to move it to another tab
  • The Screener: first-time senders wait for your yes or no before they reach your inbox
  • Priority senders who always get through, pinned messages, and a “set aside” pile for later
  • Mute a conversation, block a sender, or unsubscribe in one click
  • Read receipts and open tracking on the mail you choose, at every price — with honest limits shown on screen
  • Pictures and trackers in incoming mail are blocked until you allow them

AI help, only when you ask

Included in every mailbox. It never runs by itself on your mail.

  • Summarise a long conversation in a few lines
  • Suggested replies, which you edit before you send
  • Translate a message to Hindi or English
  • Writing help in the composer: write from a few words, make it more polite, shorter or more formal, or rewrite it in Hindi or Hinglish
  • It runs only when you press a button, on the message you chose. That text goes to our AI provider, outside India, for that one answer. GINbox keeps none of it and never uses your mail to train AI
  • Your domain’s administrator can switch AI off for everyone, and each person can switch it off for themselves
  • Included in every plan, within a fair-use allowance for each mailbox every month

Calendar, contacts and to-do

In the webmail, and on your phone.

  • A calendar with day, week and month views, repeating events and invitations
  • Contacts and contact groups, imported from Google, Outlook or Zoho in one step
  • A to-do list — turn any email into a task
  • All three sync to your phone — built in on iPhone, and on Android with the free DAVx⁵ app

Working as a team

Shared addresses without a separate help-desk tool.

  • Shared mailboxes like support@ or sales@ — free, with 10 GB each
  • Assign a conversation to a colleague, and leave notes only your team can see
  • Templates the whole team shares
  • Forward mail to an outside address, after that address confirms it — and the domain owner can turn forwarding off

Easy setup

The part that usually needs an IT person, done for you.

  • Every DNS record your domain needs, with copy buttons — each checked: Found, Not found or Different
  • Mail keeps going to your old provider until you switch; nothing changes by surprise
  • New people choose their own password through a one-time link
  • Mail app settings shown for every mailbox

Moving from your old provider

One form for the whole domain.

  • Detects where your mail is today and fills in the settings
  • Each person’s password, a CSV file, or a single admin login where your old server offers one
  • Copies every folder, read/unread status and date, and checks that every message arrived
  • Picks up mail that still reaches the old server for three days after you switch
  • Deletes every password it held when the move ends
  • Google Workspace in one step: your Google admin allows GINbox once, and no one’s password is needed
  • Zoho, cPanel and other hosting servers, MDaemon, Titan, Rediffmail and any IMAP server
  • Microsoft 365 and Outlook: upload an Outlook .pst file (or .mbox and .eml files) of up to 20 GB. A one-click Microsoft 365 connection is coming.

How moving works, step by step →

New: Google or Microsoft for a few, GINbox for the rest

Split delivery: one domain, two providers, and you pay the big one only for the seats you need.

  • Keep a few people on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365; everyone else gets a GINbox mailbox at the same domain
  • Senders see one company: the same addresses, and colleagues mail each other across both sides as before
  • Your MX can stay with Google or Microsoft, so the people who stay never depend on GINbox — or point it to GINbox for filtering on everyone
  • Only the addresses you list are passed on; mail pretending to be from your domain is refused unless it passes DMARC
  • Move more people to GINbox whenever you are ready, one at a time, with their old mail
  • New, and set up together with our team

Security and delivery

Protection that usually comes only with expensive plans.

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC on every domain by default; signing keys changed every year without breaking anything
  • Two-step sign-in for every domain admin, and for any mailbox that wants it (with app passwords for mail apps)
  • Outgoing spam checks, sending limits, and an automatic lock on a mailbox that looks stolen
  • Every message scanned for viruses and known phishing, coming in and going out, with new signatures every night
  • Files are scanned the moment you attach them in the webmail
  • Dangerous attachment types (programs, scripts, macros) are refused, even inside .zip files
  • Bounces and spam complaints are watched; a mailbox that harms delivery is paused and you are told
  • A backup sending route if our main one ever has trouble

Your data

Yours, and only yours.

  • Servers and account data in Mumbai, India; mail stored in Singapore for now (see the Privacy Policy)
  • Deleted mailboxes can be restored for 30 days; mail in Trash is kept for 30 days
  • Every change to your domain is listed in its Activity log
  • Anyone can download all their mail (.mbox) and contacts (vCard) at any time
  • The admin panel and the webmail work in English and Hindi

Where GINbox is going: email with AI at its heart

AI help is already in every mailbox: summaries of long threads, suggested replies, translation between English and Hindi, and writing help in English, Hindi and Hinglish — only when you ask. We are building GINbox to be the best AI-powered email in the world, and we add to it carefully, without ever using your mail to train AI. Next: a one-click move from Microsoft 365.
