1. Free trial first
Every new account can try GINbox free for 14 days with up to 3 mailboxes — no card needed — so you can check that GINbox works for you before paying.
2. Cancelling
- Cancel any time from the admin panel (Billing) or by writing to info@ginbox.net from your account's email address.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. The Service continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- You can export your mail at any time with any mail app (IMAP). After the paid period ends you have 30 days to export before mailboxes are deleted (see Terms, section 9).
- Removing a mailbox or moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the next renewal; the current period is not refunded, except as below.
3. Refunds
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| First purchase of a plan, cancelled within 7 days of payment | Full refund of that payment. |
| Annual plan, cancelled after 7 days | No refund of the current year; the plan runs to the end of the year. |
| Monthly plan, cancelled after 7 days | No refund of the current month. |
| Charged twice, or charged after you cancelled (our error or the payment network's) | Full refund of the extra charge. |
| We end the Service, or remove a core feature you pay for (Terms 1.2, 9.2) | Pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period. |
| Account terminated for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy (spam, phishing, malware) | No refund. |
| Adding mailboxes or upgrading mid-period | You pay only the difference for the rest of the period; nothing is lost. |
4. How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of approval (the bank or card issuer may take longer to show it). We do not refund in cash or to a different account.
- A GST credit note is issued for every refund, matching the original tax invoice.
- To ask for a refund, write to info@ginbox.net with the invoice number; we reply within 2 working days.
5. Failed or disputed payments
If a payment fails, nothing is charged and we tell you. If you see a charge you do not recognise, write to us before raising a dispute with your bank — we will investigate and, where the charge is wrong, refund it.
